HPMC E50 is a non-ionic cellulose ether widely used as a binder, thickener, film-former, stabilizer, and viscosity modifier.
It is obtained by modifying natural cellulose with methyl and hydroxypropyl groups.
It provides excellent solubility, controlled viscosity, and high stability across pH 3–11.
